summer week 1 | June 27 – July 1 | 9am - 12pm | Rising 2nd – 8th graders | BUILDING MINIATURE TREE HOUSES
We’ll design and create our miniature treehouses using wood, glue, basic hand tools (hammer, hand saw, hand drill, screwdrivers, & sanding blocks), and an assortment of found objects & upcycled materials! We’ll look at the architectural work of Antoni Gaudí, Frank Gehry, Dr. Seuss, and others who have built amazing tree houses, large and small.
All workshops take place in my outdoor garage-studio space in the College Hill neighborhood of Maplewood, New Jersey.
