Young artists will create a wearable fashion piece and a Mini-Me Puppet, with a range of gathered materials in the Open Studio. We’ll take a look at the work of El Anatsui, Michelle Reader, Benjamin Von Wong, Alexandra Sipa and a few other contemporary fashion designers specializing in the use of repurposed and upcycled materials.
*Since all workshops are process-based, taking a workshop more than one time will always be a new learning experience, focused on deepening individual exploration of content and material. No two workshops are alike!
