wednesdays | 3:30 – 5pm | september 20 - november 15 | PRINTMAKING & SOCIAL JUSTICE | 6th– 8th graders

$340.00
sold out

Exploring social justice, what it means, and how a range of artists such as Eric Gottesman, Shirin Neshat, Keith Haring, Jacob Lawrence, Andrea Bowers, The Guerilla Girls, Andy Goldsworthy and Kara Walker, use different mediums, including visual language, to address the issues they are passionate about, we’ll focus on the basics of printmaking. Each young artist will develop their own visual messages through a collaborative group process. Ultimately, each of them will design and screen print their own activist T-Shirt aimed at making the world a more just place — one artwork at a time!

Please Register by Monday, September 13th!

*Since all workshops are process-based, taking a workshop more than one time will always be a new learning experience focused on deepening individual exploration of content and material. No two workshops are alike!
