tuesdays | 3:30 – 5pm | september 20 - november 15 | BUILDING MINIATURE TREEHOUSES & “BUNDLE HOUSES” | 1st– 4th graders

$340.00

Using basic hand tools (hammers, hand saws, hand drills, screwdrivers, clamps, & sanding blocks), glue, nails, screws, pegs, lumber, and gathered “raw” wood, we’ll focus for the first 4 workshops on designing and building our own miniature treehouses inspired by the work of architects, Dr. Seuss and our imaginations! For the last 4 weeks, we’ll focus on building miniature Bundle Houses* — dwellings made exclusively from found objects, upcycled and repurposed materials, inspired by the work of Jersey City based-artist, Nyugen E. Smith.

Please Register by Monday, September 13th!

*Since all workshops are process-based, taking a workshop more than one time will always be a new learning experience focused on deepening individual exploration of content and material. No two workshops are alike!
