Creating Mini-Me Puppets, with a range of art and repurposed materials, young artists will work both collaboratively and individually in an Open Studio setting each week. We’ll take a look at the work of Julie Taymor, Alexander Calder, Theo Jansen, “Little Amal”, the exhibit currently at the Museum of the City of New York, The Puppets of New York (online), and dip into the footage of the International Puppet Fringe Festival! All of the work will be shown at the end of the session in a Puppet Show Gallery!
