What is this? A time and place to unleash the artist in every Mom and any other adult, for that matter! It's a place to play and experiment with process-based artmaking in a supportive, non-judgey environment without interruption for 2 hours!!!! Just imagine that. No artmaking expericence necessary. Curiosity is all you need.
When: Every 2ND WEDNESDAY, starting MAY 19th, 7:00 - 9:00PM the Fire in the Belly Artmaking garage-studio will be open for supported exploration time.
Fee 5 workshop card, $200
How do I get a spot if I want to come on a specific date?: Register to reserve a spot on the website for the date or dates you want. With COVID restrictions, reservations are necessary as we've got a 10 person limit per workshop.
What to expect in a 2-hour Open Studio Workshop: Barbara will provide a creative and open-ended prompt at the beginning of each session and a selection of materials for focused experimentation. Participants are free to choose her guided exploration or their own focus within the range of what's offered that evening and/or to bring their own materials and/or projects or works-in-progress to work on, while enjoying the creative mojo of working in a communal setting with others who are also up to their elbows in making stuff.
